Imperial Age aus Russland verbünden sich zum Release ihres neuen Albums mit Adulruna Records.

Adulruna wurde ins Leben gerufen von der schwedischen Legende Christofer Johnsson (Therion).

Imperial Age ist eine russische Symphonic Metal Band aus Moskau, die im Jahr 2012 von Alexander "Aor" Osipov gegründet wurde. Die Band erhielt positive Anerkennungen weltweit ohne Unterstützung eines Labels und tourten bereits mit Bands wie Therion, Tarja, Epica, Paradise Lost, Oomph!, The 69 Eyes, Tristania, Arkona oder Finntroll. Imperial Age rockten außerdem schon mehrere Headliner-Shows in ihrer Heimat, auch mit einem Kammerorchester und Chor.

Christofer Johnsson sagt über den Neuzugang bei Adulruna: “I’m proud to welcome IMPERIAL AGE as the very first band to join in with my new business model which will be publically announced upon the release of this album next year”.

Das Imperial Age Album „Warrior Race“ (VÖ: 05.02.2016) wird im Digipak mit 9 Songs inklusive eines Coversongs des berühmten Therion-Titels „To Mega Therion“ auf dem kommenden „Warrior Race“ Album veröffentlicht. Über den gecoverten Track sagt Christofer Johnsson von Therion selbst, es ist “the best THERION cover I have heard so far”.
